Refugees gathering their belongings and preparing to leave. Looking at the black and white photos one cannot distinguish whether the people shown in the photographs are Hindus or Muslims unless the photgrapgher mentions it in the caption or records the events during the moment the photo is taken. Fortunatley most of the photos taken by Margaret Bourke White describes the people shown in the images, however some photos taken by other photograpghers don't carry a description such as the one below.
